Head In The Clouds (2026)

This one feels like it could have drifted in from the early 90s, somewhere between Ride and the Cocteau Twins. It sits comfortably in that dreamy space between shoegaze and indie rock — fuzzy guitars, driving rhythms, and ethereal vocals that hover just above the noise while still feeling layered into it.

Despite the hazy sound, the songs themselves are sharp and memorable. “Maze” was a highlight for me. It has that classic shoegaze momentum where the drums and guitars push everything forward while the vocals float above it. It feels reflective rather than bitter, like someone trying to navigate the maze of memories left behind after a relationship ends.

“Stargazing” was another standout. The mood is a little darker, but there’s still a sense of hope underneath it — like someone looking past the emotional fog toward something better ahead.

The lyrics occasionally peek through the haze with small flashes of optimism. A line like “Within troubled minds a light shall always shine” from Kaleidoscope sums up the overall tone pretty well. The music might sound dreamy with a slight melancholic edge, but there’s a resilient energy running through it.

It’s only four songs, but every track works. If you have a soft spot for fuzzy guitars, dreamy vocals, and pop melodies hiding just under the surface, this EP lands right in that sweet spot.

Verdict: Good
