EP by Fugazi

I didn’t realize I was a Fugazi fan — but apparently I am. This is just three tracks, but it hit me in all the right spots.

Everything feels like it’s barely contained, clattering forward with this restless energy that never quite settles. There’s a kind of reckless noise here that feels like it could spill over at any second.“Song #1” sets the tone right away — jagged, propulsive, and locked into that tension. The whole EP runs on that same push and pull.

It sounds great, too — raw but tight. Sinister. Volatile. And killer bass. At times it even made me think of something like Sabotage, perhaps this kind of controlled chaos and rhythm might’ve inspired some of that.

In the end, this is short, loud, and a lot of fun.

Verdict: Solid
